School Board Honors Hard Working Students

Fall Scholar Athletes Recognized

Image of APS Scholar AthletesStudents who challenge themselves to be the best in the classroom and on a court or field of play were honored last night by the Akron School Board. In all, APS had 360 students receive a varsity letter. Of those, 55% had a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.

Some of those high achieving athletes attended the board meeting Monday, November 26, 2018.

Of the 198 scholar athletes from all APS high schools, 15 students from three schools attended to be recognized.
