Image of Firestone Team BRobotics Coach Dan Spak tells us his robotics teams competed against the world's best last week in Louisville, Kentucky.

As Dan tells us:

"42 countries. 850 of the best robots in the world. 4 days of intense competition. 3 Firestone teams. 1 world tournament.

At stake? Being declared the best in the world."

"This was the position Firestone Robotics found itself in during the tournament in Louisville. Firestone Teams B, E and F went to compete having qualified at the state level by winning the Design Award, as a tournament semi-finalist, and as a winner of the Innovate Award respectively," the coach told us.

He added, "Team B (Aine Bolton, Taban Wall, Helen Hohlefelder, Gabi Lathrop, Andy Stallsmith and Andrew Puinno) competed in the Technology Division at the VEX Worlds. They were successful at winning the coveted Design Award. The Design Award is presented to a team that demonstrates an organized and professional approach to the design process, project and time management and team organization. "

He exclaimed at the end of our interview, "There are only six of these Divisional awards in the world, and Firestone owns one!"

This was another excellent showing in the global arena from Firestone CLC, its robotics team and their terrific coach, Dan Spak. Kudos!
