Joining him was Michael Fay, the director of eSports and head coach for those teams at UA. In the photo, standing to the left of Mr. Fay is Early College Principal Cheryl Connolly.

eSports (also known as Esports, electronic sports, e-sports or eSports) is a form of competition using video games. Most commonly, eSports takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players, individually or as teams.

Buzz was a member of the four-person team at UA that recently won the national collegiate championship in eSports.  He shared with the board his experiences and aspirations. Fay talked to the board about the emergence of eSports on college campuses and in high schools. UA is working with APS now on a program within the schools.
