APS Student Named to U.S. Senate Youth Program

Image of Grave KoscoThe United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) has announced that STEM High School student Grace Marie Kosco will join Senator Sherrod Brown and Senator Rob Portman in representing Ohio in the nation's capital during the 57th annual USSYP Washington Week, March 2-9. Grace was selected to be part of the 104 national student delegation and will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate study. The USSYP was created to increase young Americans' understanding of the inter-relationships of the three branches of government, learn the caliber and responsibilities of federally elected and appointed officials, and emphasize the vital importance of democratic decision making.
