Our Joshua Allen wanted to thank everyone who came out to help deliver hot meals on Christmas Day. They did 209 meals this year, which (unfortunately) is smaller than the normal 750 because of COVID. They gave out blankets, hats and gloves, socks and meals.
Special thanks to the Waterloo Restaurant who cooked and packaged all the meals and a huge shout-out to NOPEC, Akron Public Schools secretaries union and One On One for their generous donations.
They even had some spills! But they are all thankful and wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
