Image of PCs for PeopleThe Department of Community and Economic Development is holding a PCs for People event August 21 from 10:30 a.m.-noon in the Summit County Job and Family Services parking lot located at the Pry Building (1180 S. Main St.). Recipients must be income eligible 200% of poverty level (examples: receive SNAP benefits, free or reduced lunch at school, public housing, Medicaid, etc.). Those eligible MUST pre-register to reserve the technology, and financial aid is available for individuals who cannot afford package costs (financial aid is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed). All packages must be pre-paid prior to pickup (bring your confirmation number). Masks must be worn during pickup, and recipients must remain in their vehicles.
