When former special education teacher and radio program director Lew Snodgrass retired, he found he had a lot more time on his hands for one of his favorite pastimes — visiting auctions.

Snodgrass has also been a member of the World War II, Korean, Vietnam, Gulf and Afghanistan wars Roundtable since 2003 and is the group’s current vice president.

At the roundtable’s Nov. 21 meeting at the Fairlawn Kiwanis Community Center, Snodgrass said he never expected his passion for auctions to coalesce with his work with the roundtable in as dramatic a fashion as it did just weeks before Veterans Day this year. Read more here >>.
