Important Announcements

  • Akron Public Schools will be closed through the end of the school year. All learning will take place online and may be accessed through APS Connected Learning, which is now live.

  • APS registration begins April 20 for early learning and grades K-12. Click here to access our online registration. For help or more information, contact the Engagement Center at 330.761.2810.

  • Meal Information

    APS continues to provide food to Akron's children. Student meal “to-go” bags are available at all APS neighborhood schools for children ages 1-18 regardless of the school they attend. Bags  include breakfast and lunch; students will receive extra meals on Thursday to cover Friday.

    No meals will be served at Ott, Essex, Stewart, Early College, NIHF STEM, STEM HS, I PROMISE or Miller South. These students may come to any other neighborhood school and receive meals.

    Monday-Thursday
    9:30-11:30 a.m.
    Schools' main entrances
    AND
    Reach Opportunity Center, 390 W. Crosier St., Akron
