APSplus

Akron Public Schools is pleased to be able to offer our students and families resources for support throughout the school day through two APSplus services: 24/7 on-demand tutoring through TutorMe for APS students in grades 6-12 and Support Squad (coming back soon).  Please read below for information on both.

Akron Public Schools has partnered with TutorMe to provide 24/7 on-demand live tutoring services. Students in grades 6-12 have the ability to access live support via text, mic, video or share their screen with their virtual on-demand tutor. Watch the videos below for more information on TutorMe.

These tutors are not APS staff, rather highly trained subject-area experts who can help students proof papers in the writing lab or assist with difficult secondary subject area questions ... everything from Spanish to Calculus!

Hours: TutorMe is a 24/7 live tutoring service for our grades 6-12 students in ANY subject.

Note: Students in grades Pre-K-5 do not have access to this service, and all sessions are transcripted.
