About Mason CLC

  • Meet the Mason C.L.C. staff (click here)


  • The new Mason Community Learning Center is complete and opened on January 22, 2008.
  • Mason CLC is equipped for videoconferencing with anyone in the world.
  • Mason CLC provides tutors, small class sizes, supplemental reading, parent programs and OPT tutoring.
  • The Accelerated Reading program enhances comprehension skills. The STAR Reader program assesses reading levels to aid interest and skill.
  • OhioReads volunteers from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and The Chapel on Fir Hill give up their lunch hour to read with students.
  • Students wear uniforms.
  • A 21st Century grant provides after-school and summer school programs.
  • The Star Math program provides valuable assessment information.
  • Teachers have an average of 15 years of experience, and 78?% hold a master's degree or higher.
