APS students win place in National FCCLA competition

More than 70 APS students attended the state FCCLA Leadership Conference and competition, and 10 qualified for the nationals: Buchtel – Lyric Henderson and Shonda Johnson (Junior Illustrated Talk); Ellet – Gabrielle Oliphant and Willow Savage (Environmental Ambassador); and Hyre – Taylor Bartholet, Emily Clay and McKenna Rafferty (Illustrated Talk); and Shelby Fisher, Haley Reymann and Jessica Vongsaphay (Chapter Service Manual). Their teachers are Marcia Morrison (Buchtel), Linda Dillon (Ellet) and Deborah Firtha (Hyre).
