East at Martha Avenue moved its location, changed its name and opened in a new building this fall. The middle school is now a part of the already-established East CLC, located adjacent to the main high school building in its own newly finished wing. East CLC 7-8 campus will host a special dedication ceremony on Thursday, September 22, at 5:30 p.m. to welcome the community into its new building.

Be a part of the celebration by joining Principal Nicki Embly, as well as students, family and friends. Dedication attendees will be able to take a tour of the facility and will be accompanied by Superintendent David W. James and Mayor Don Plusquellic who will address the visitors regarding this significant event.

East CLC 7-8 campus is another step toward the completion of Akron Public Schools Community Learning Centers Project. East CLC 7-8 campus will support and help contribute to the success of students and the community.
