"Take Our Daughters AND SONS to Work Day" guidelines and procedures for Apr. 22 and Apr. 30

The National “Take Our Daughters/Sons to Work Day” is scheduled for Thursday, April 22. Parents may request that their students participate in this national event. School staff should follow the guidelines.

Because the national day falls on a testing day, APS staff members are NOT permitted to bring their children to work on April 22. This applies to ALL staff at ALL locations in the district. We have selected an alternative day – Friday, April 30 – for our own "Take Our Daughters/Sons to Work Day." Staff will be permitted to bring their children in grades 4-10 to work on April 30.
