Board Member

Hardy is the youngest elected Board Member in the history of Akron Public Schools. He holds a B.S. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from The University of Akron, and is currently a Special Assistant for the Kent State University Board of Trustees. He is a proud product of the Akron Public Schools, graduating from Firestone High School in 2002. Hardy has been recognized for his work on the Ohio School Boards Association's Board of Trustees, advocating for urban districts in Ohio. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of the Western Reserve and ARDMORE, Inc. Hardy is also a former President of the Akron Public Schools Board of Education.
