Community Relations

 Carla Sibley

Community relations supports student success by fostering collaboration and engagement with families, local businesses and community organizations. In cooperation with these groups, we act as an agent for change and improvement in the APS schools.

Head Start

Do you know a child who would like to go to Head Start? Head Start is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. The program offers foster/kinship care and serves children with disabilities and pregnant women; families experiencing homelessness are automatically eligible.

The Head Start Centralized Recruitment Office (CREO) is accepting registration information for children 3-5 years old (preschool age) for morning or afternoon sessions at several area locations.
