Kudos to Gillian Allen. Gillian is a senior in the culinary arts program at Kenmore-Garfield High School who is now making future plans to move to New York.

Gillian has been accepted to The Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park New York.

Often referred to as the Ivy League of culinary schools, The CIA, as it's known, has boasted graduates such as Anthony Bourdain, Cat Cora and Cleveland's own Michael Symon.

Congratulations also to the culinary arts program and its leaders. Gillian is the third student in the last four years from Kenmore-Garfield's culinary program to be accepted to this prestigious university.

Way to go Gillian!
